Nuovi Cantieri Apuania, established in the 70’s after the restructuring of a shipyard founded in 1941, is active in the ship building field.

The company is controlled by:

- Investire partecipazioni S.p.A. – 90,55%
- Invitalia – 9,45%

The head office and the shipyard are both in Marina di Carrara (Massa Carrara) in Tuscany.
The production area has a total surface of 65.000 sqm, with a building dry-dock of 200x35x6 mt.

Nuovi Cantieri Apuania during the years has seen its production focusing more and more on the construction of ships for passengers such as Cruise Ferries, Ro-Ro ships and Yachts, maintaining also its presence in the field of gas and chemical tankers building.

Italian style, project and product high quality have given to the shipyard, in the last years, the opportunity to receive important certificates for the ships built in Marina di Carrara.
